Departure and arrival procedures

Procedures for domestic departure passengers

Passengers are requested to proceed to the Level 4 Check-In Lobby from the Terminal 3 Area C Level 4 Connecting Bridge (near Traffic Lane) Go through check-in formalities Go down to Area C Level 3 by stairs or lifts Security check Domestic Departure Lounge Boarding Gates Boarding

Procedures for domestic arrival passengers

After the plane lands at the Terminal 3 Area C Boarding Bridge, passengers are requested to proceed to the Area C Level 2 Domestic Arrival Floor via the Corridor Bridge Domestic Baggage Claim Hall Reception Hall Traffic center or down to Level 1 Traffic Lane

Procedures for international departure passengers

Passengers are requested to proceed to the Area C Level 4 Check-In Lobby either from the Traffic center Level 2 Connecting Bridge, or the Area C Level 4 Connecting Bridge (near the Traffic Lane) Checked Baggage Customs Declaration Check-In formalities Boarding Pass check Down to the Area C Level 2 APM Station by stairs and lifts APM Area E Level 2 APM Station Area E CIQ, 2Fà Health & Quarantine Inspection Exit Frontier Inspection Security Inspection Customs Inspection International Departure Lounge Boarding Gates Boarding

Special notice: International passengers traveling on flights CA153, CA155, CA175, CA177, CA903, CA905, CA923, CA953, CA957, CA977 and other flights with domestic stopovers should follow the domestic departure transfer guides and wait for the plane in the designated waiting areas located near Gate C53 and Gate C54 after completing boarding procedures. If they have items in the checked baggage that must go through declarations or other customs procedures, these passengers must first go through the customs procedures at the Customs Declaration counter between Room D and Room E of the Check-in Duty Hall on Level 4

Procedures for international arrival passengers

After the plane lands at the Terminal 3 Area E Boarding Bridge, passengers are requested to proceed to the Area E Level 3 International Arrival Floor Health Inspection Entry Frontier Inspection Down to the Area E Level 2 APM Station by stairs and lifts APM Area C Level 2 APM Station International Baggage Claim Hall Animal and Plant Quarantine (spot check) Customs Inspection of Entry Reception Hall Traffic center or down to the Level 1 Traffic Lane.

Notes:

A、F、H、J、K、L Check-in Areas are for Air China passengers to go through Check-in formalities.

Domestic departing passengers are requested to enter the J Check-in Area via Gate 10 to go through Check-in formalities.

Passengers taking international, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan flights are requested to enter the F Check-in Area via Gate 8 to go through Check-in formalities.

If you have a First Class or Business Class ticket on an international flight operated by Air China, including flights to Hong Kong, Macao or Taiwan, please enter the airport through entrance 2 and proceed to check-in area A to complete check-in procedures.

If you are a PhoenixMiles Platinum member and take an international flight operated by Air China, please enter the airport through entrance 2 and proceed to check-in area A to complete check-in procedures. If you have a First Class or Business Class ticket on an Air China domestic flight or if you are a PhoenixMiles Gold or Silver member, please enter the airport through entrance 8 or 10 and proceed to check-in area H to complete check-in procedures.

Passengers taking flights on Star Alliance partner airlines can enter the E and D Check-in Areas via Gates 4 and 6 to go through Check-in formalities.

Check-in formalities close 30 minutes prior to flight departure for domestic flights, and 60 minutes for international and regional flights.
