Adria Airlines
The airline of Slovenia has a wealth of experience spanning over 50 years in charter and scheduled air traffic. Adria Airways was founded in 1961 as a charter company. In the 1980s the airline started operating scheduled routes and joined the International Air Transport Association. Today Adria Airways’ network links Ljubljana with more than 20 cities throughout Europe and offers excellent connections from North West to South East Europe. In 2004 Adria Airways joined Star Alliance. Being one of the first regional carriers to become a member of this prestigious airline family is the best proof of Adria’ Airways’ excellence and reliability. Now, Adria Airways offers over 170 scheduled flights to cities of Amsterdam, Barcelona, Belgrade, Brussels, Copenhagen, Frankfurt, London, Istanbul, Manchester, Moscow, Munich, Podgorica, Prishtina, Sarajevo, Skopje, Tirana, Vienna and Zurich. In December 2010, the airline started offering flights between Prishtina and German cities like Frankfurt and Munich, and in January 2012, started offering flights between Prishtina and the Italian city of Verona.
