Air Macao
Air Macau was founded on 13 September 1994, and began commercial operations on 9 November 1995. The airline operates regional services from its hub at Macau International Airport. Destinations include Beijing, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Nanjing, Ningbo, Hefei, Chengdu, Chongqing, Tianjin, Taiyuan, Zhengzhou, Xiamen, Nanning, Guiyang, Taipei, Kaohsiung, Seoul, Bangkok, Osaka, Tokyo, and Fukuoka. The Air Macau fleet consists of 10 Airbus A321, 3 Airbus A320, and 4 Airbus A319 aircraft. As of 30 April 2016, the company employs 1,275 staff from 35 countries and regions. Air Macau has played a vital role in the transportation of passengers across the Taiwan Strait. Taiwanese passengers have made over 16 million journeys with the airline since it was founded in 1995. Thanks to Macau’s booming economy and the listing of Macau’s historic centre as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in July 2005, an increasing number of tourists from Taiwan and Southeast Asia have been travelling to the city with Air Macau. Air Macau's e-commerce (B2C) services have been growing rapidly in recent years, and the airline successfully completed the IATA operational safety audit (IOSA) in March 2009. Operating from its hub in Macau, it aims to provide first-class services and connections to a wide range of destinations in the Asia-Pacific region.
