UnionPay Certification Service Agreement

Dear PhoenixMiles Members ("Members") / Passengers:

Thank you for using the UnionPay certification service provided by Air China Limited ("Air China" or "us"). This Service Agreement sets forth the terms on which Air China provides UnionPay certification services to members/passengers. To protect your legal rights, please read all of the terms of this Service Agreement carefully before you agree to accept this Service Agreement. If you are under the age of 18, please read this agreement with the accompaniment of a guardian and use this service after obtaining the guardian's consent.

I. UnionPay Certification Service Provider and Contact Information

The UnionPay certification service function in this service agreement is provided to you by Air China, and the technical service provider is UnionPay Business Payment Co., Ltd. (the "Service Provider").

If you have any questions or requests regarding any matters in this Agreement, including our rules for handling your personal information, you can contact us or service providers through the above methods to exercise your personal information rights.

II. Description of UnionPay Certification Function

1. This UnionPay certification function is only applicable to members/passengers using the products and services of PhoenixMiles website, Air China App, and Air China official website within China.

2. Air China will collect your bank card information, including bank card number, name, ID number (ID card, Hong Kong and Macao resident residence permit, Taiwan resident residence permit, military officer card, passport, hometown permit, mainland travel permit for Taiwan residents, foreigner permanent residence ID card and other valid ID numbers) and bank card reserved mobile phone number, and transmit your above information to the service provider in an encrypted manner. The service provider will verify the information through legal external verification channels, including China UnionPay, commercial banks and other third-party organizations. According to laws, regulations and regulatory requirements, service providers will handle the above information within the prescribed business scope and properly keep relevant verification information to meet the requirements of anti-money laundering and security management and improve service quality. You agree that Air China and service providers will provide the above information to China UnionPay, commercial banks and other verification agencies for real-name authentication and anti-money laundering verification, and authorize the verification agencies to process your information within the necessary scope.

3. Air China only uses your above information to provide you with UnionPay certification services in different aviation comprehensive business scenarios, improve the security of transactions and the credibility of member/passenger identities, and help Air China members/passengers conduct self-service identity verification. Specifically, we will apply UnionPay certification to your member/passenger account management, real-name authentication, card and coupon usage, points and mileage management, and other products or services provided to you by Air China after verifying your identity.

4. Air China does not guarantee the accuracy and absolute authenticity of the authenticated user identity.

5. Your UnionPay certification information collected by Air China is not retained locally by Air China. Your UnionPay certification-related personal information will not be used for purposes other than those notified in this agreement, nor will it be shared with other third parties unless your separate consent is obtained.

6. The retention period of your UnionPay certification information at the service provider is the shortest time required for business, and the longest period does not exceed the period required by laws and regulations.

7. Please be sure to note that you must ensure the accuracy and completeness of the information you enter before using this service. If any security, delay, or other possible issues occur in the handling of relevant business due to incorrect information you provide, Air China shall not be held liable for such issues.

8. Please be sure to note that no Internet environment is completely secure. Although Air China has adopted adequate and necessary technical and security measures to ensure the security of your personal information in accordance with the relevant requirements of national laws, this does not mean that your personal information will not be subject to any form of hacking or security incidents. Air China shall not assume any responsibility for any loss caused by force majeure (including but not limited to natural disasters, government actions, power interruption, paralysis of basic network services, computer hacker attacks, system failures, communication failures, computer viruses, malicious program attacks and other unforeseen, avoidable and insurmountable objective circumstances) and other circumstances not attributable to Air China. Air China will do the utmost to ensure the security of your personal information. However, please be careful, in order to prevent security incidents, such as data leaks, that are attributable to you.

III. Information Security Measures

Air China strictly complies with the relevant information security obligations stipulated by applicable laws and regulations, and encrypts and transmits your information related to UnionPay certification using the encryption algorithms approved by the national regulatory authorities. In addition, we will enter into data processing entrustment agreements with relevant third parties that require such third parties to assume their obligations regarding the security and confidentiality of personal information.

IV. Your Rights

When you have a request related to your rights, you may exercise the following rights after Air China has verified your identity and confirmed that you are the person entitled to the right or you have obtained legal authorization:

1. You have the right to ask Air China to help you inquire and copy the information related to your UnionPay verification function retained by the service provider. You can submit your application by calling 95583 or sending an email to ffp@airchina.com, and we will respond to your request within 15 working days.

2. You have the right to ask Air China to assist you in deleting the relevant information of the UnionPay verification function retained by the service provider, but please note that when you choose to delete the relevant information of your UnionPay verification function, you will not be able to use the UnionPay verification function provided by Air China again. You can submit an application by calling 95583 or sending an email to ffp@airchina.com, and we will respond to your request within 15 working days.

3. You have the right to use our contact information to request Air China to explain the contents of these Terms.

4. You have the right to file an appeal with us or to make a complaint regarding a violation using our contact information published in these Terms. We will verify and deal with complaints immediately.

5. You have the right to withdraw your authorization at any time through the contact details published in this agreement. After withdrawal, we will stop processing your UnionPay verification information, but this operation does not affect the validity of personal information processing activities conducted before the withdrawal.

V. Effectiveness and Updating of These Terms

This Agreement shall become effective immediately upon execution. By clicking "Agree" or otherwise choosing to accept the provisions of this Agreement, you will be deemed to have entered into this Agreement. Without prejudice to the interests of users, Air China reserves the right to modify or supplement the contents of this Agreement, and publish it by notification on the PhoenixMiles website, Air China App, and Air China official website. If you continue to handle related business after notice of changes in this Agreement, you will be deemed to have fully read, understood, and accepted the amended contents of the Agreement, and will handle related business in accordance with the amended contents of the Agreement. If you do not agree to the amended contents of the Agreement, you shall request Air China to terminate this Agreement and shall stop the handling of related business.

VI. Dispute Resolution

Any dispute arising from the performance of or in connection with this Agreement shall be settled through negotiation between the parties hereto. If the negotiations are unsuccessful, the parties hereto may, by consensus, submit the dispute to the Beijing Arbitration Commission for arbitration in accordance with its arbitration rules in effect at the time of applying for arbitration. The place of arbitration shall be Beijing. The arbitration award shall be final and binding on the parties. The arbitration costs shall be borne by the losing party.

This Agreement was written in Chinese and has been translated into other languages. If there is any inconsistency or ambiguity between the Chinese version and the translated versions, the Chinese version shall prevail.
