Aegean Airlines

Founded in 1987, Aegean Airlines is Greece’s second largest airline, offering scheduled and charter flights. Aegean Airlines has been investing over many years in strengthening its international presence both in Athens and at regional airports. Its fleet consists of 47 Airbus A320 family aircraft. In October 2013 it acquired Olympic Air. Together with its subsidiary Olympic Air, Aegean Airlines provides scheduled passenger service directly to 145 destinations, 111 international and 34 domestic, in 45 countries. Its flight operations are based in Athens International Airport and Thessaloniki International Airport. Aegean Airlines has been honored with the Skytrax World Airline award, as the best European regional airline in 2016.
