  Mileage Banking
From November 1, 2002, Air China PhoenixMiles has promoted the Mileage Bank service, which affords more convenient and safer services to Club Members. As soon as the Mileage Bank is in full operation, members just need to present your member cards, password and valid original identification to keep track of and use your mileage account at Air China PhoenixMiles Club Service Center or Air China Ticket Offices. You can also inquire about and manage your mileage accounts and individual information by exploring the Internet, making a call or sending a short message with your mobile phones. Up to then, the previous mileage certificates will be totally replaced by the Mileage Bank and the promotion of the new domestic award standard will help members use your accumulated mileage in a more reasonable way.

Password

The Mileage Bank has set an individual password for each member. As the only identification used by the Mileage Bank, the password will guarantee the safety and privacy of the mileage account. Please keep your password properly and revise it at an irregular interval.
Members will find your passwords in the right above corner of the welcoming letters. Members must revise your passwords once before you start to use the Mileage Bank; otherwise, you can only make mileage accumulation and inquiry instead of using the mileage.

Password Revision
1 Members must go to "Air China PhoenixMiles" Member Service Center, Air China's branches, domestic booking offices or the ticket offices directly under overseas representative offices to make the first revision of your passwords.
2 Members should present your Membership Cards and valid identification papers (Chinese citizens use ID) and fill in "Air China PhoenixMiles" Membership Service Change Form. When revising your passwords, first input your original passwords once and then your new passwords twice.
3 Members can revise their passwords once again by exploring the Internet and sending a short message with your mobile phone besides going to the above-mentioned places.
4 After presenting your passwords, members can inquire about your mileage points, revise the basic information and redeem your mileage awards using mileage bank exchange for a free trip and so on.

MILEAGE AWARDS
Qualifications for the First Awarding
From Feb1, 2006, Air China PhoenixMiles Members will get the qualification of redeeming award for the first time when you accumulate 20,000 kilometers of mileage or 4 flights segments with Air China as actual carrier within two calendar years instead of 20,000 kilometers of mileage or 10 flights segments (limited to flights carrying the code of CA) within valid period of mileage.

Procedures for Redeeming Mileage Points for Free Flights
By simply following the following steps, you can easily redeem mileage points for free flights:
    1. First choose the awards to be received: a awarded ticket or awarded upgrade.
    2. Choose your destination and airlines, then read the awards conversion zones form to find which zone your destination belongs to.
    3. Based on the type of awards you have chosen and the award location, consult the conversion form to determine how many mileage points you will need to redeem according to the class you have chosen.
    4. Members should present your PhoenixMiles Cards, valid identification papers (If others take flights instead of you, their identification papers should also be provided) and passwords for awarded tickets and awarded upgrades at the ticket offices directly under Air China 14 days ahead of the takeoff.

Blackout Dates
The available space for awarded tickets and upgrades with mileage is subject to flight, season, and destination. On certain occasions space cannot always be guaranteed. In order to avoid any inconvenience, please carefully note below the blackout dates in 2008.
