A Platinum Member flies on Air
China-operated and CA-coded flights
As a Platinum Member, you get a mileage bonus above the
class-based normal mileage every time you fly on an Air
China-operated and CA-coded flight, and the bonus, which is
50% of the normal, will be credited to the your mileage
account but does not count towards your Mileage Status.
Booking and Ticketing

Reservation kept up to 48 hours before the flight
If you have reserved a First Class (F) seat, Business
Class (C) seat or full-fare Economy Class (Y) seat on an
Air China-operated flight, your reservation will be kept
up to 48 hours before the flight. |

Priority Seat Guarantee
If you purchase a First Class (F) seat, Business Class
(C) seat or full-fare Economy Class (Y) seat on an
Air China-operated flight within 48 hours before the
flight, you only need to dial our Elite Member
Reservation Hotline. We'll put you on our priority
list and do everything possible to make your travel
happen. |

Priority Award Ticket/Award Class Upgrade Guarantee
We'll give priority to award ticketing and award class
upgrading for a Platinum Member. When you need the
service, please submit your application to our
Member Services Center which will take care of your
needs. |

Waitlist
An Elite Member takes priority on the waitlist, and
the order of priority is Platinum, Gold and Silver. |

Priority Check-in
Waitlist
If you fail to purchase a ticket and the flight is
full, an Elite Member takes priority on the waitlist,
and the order of priority is Platinum, Gold and Silver. |
First Class Check-in Counter

As a Platinum Member,
you have the right to check in at the First Class
Check-in Counter or the Elite Member Check-in Counter,
irregardless of which class your ticket is in. |
More Baggage Allowance
As a Platinum Member, you're entitled to more baggage
allowance:

On routes where the
weight of baggage counts, a Platinum Member is entitled
to 30 kilos' worth of free baggage allowance above the
normal, irregardless of which class your ticket is in; |

On routes (e.g.
China-US, China-Canada) where the number of pieces of
baggage counts, a Platinum Member is entitled to 1 more
piece of checked-in baggage above the normal, and the
limitations on the weight of baggage are as follows: 32
kilos for the First Class and Business Class and 23
kilos for the Economy Class, and the sum of the length,
width and height mustn't exceed 158 centimeters. |
Priority Baggage Handling

A Platinum Member's
baggage will be loaded onto the aircraft at last and
unloaded from the aircraft first so that you can claim
your baggage in the shortest possible time. |
Access to Airport Lounges
● |
A Platinum Member has
access to First Class lounge, and can take one passenger
who will fly with any of the Star Alliance carriers on
that day into the lounge. |
Priority Boarding
● |
If conditions permit,
a Platinum Member takes priority in boarding and thus
has more time to put in their handbags. |
Service Defects
● |
When flight is
canceled or delayed, a Platinum Member is entitled to
the same standard of food, lounge and accommodation as a
First Class passenger. |
A Platinum Member flies on
Star-operated and Star-coded flights
As a Platinum Member, you're entitled to the following
services when you fly on a Star-operated and Star-coded
flight:

● Priority check-in waitlist
● Priority check-in
● Priority baggage check-in
● Priority boarding when conditions permit
● One more piece of checked in baggage or 20 kilo allowance
of check-in baggage above the normal
● Free access to Star Gold lounges around the world, and is
allowed to take one passenger who will fly with any of ●the
Star Alliance carriers on that day into the lounge.
